Adidas is a well-known German multinational corporation which designs and manufactures sports & fashion clothing and accessories. In 2006, they made plans to relocated to a brand new office in Landmark East Two, Kowloon, Hong Kong, and move away from their existing Wanchai, Hong Kong workspace.
As successfully delivered an office with similar requirement in 2006, Adidas wanted to address the typical marketing & sales functions better through the creation of multi-functional showrooms and meeting areas for their teams to use. Having work with the client’s management team, Axis was appointed as their concept designer to integrate their best of use of their working environment and corporate culture.
Our Scope of Service:
Despite the complexity of the design (like open ceiling, custom-made display units and ceiling layers, different lighting and floor treatment settings) as well as the E&M restraints within the new building (like how to change air-con/fire system to be adapted to different ceiling design) Axis was able to manage every stage and every detailed implementation to ensure the project ran smoothly from start to finish. The Axis team outlined a pre-project schedule at the initial kick-off, recognizing each stage of the project development where key decisions were made and coordinated with all related parties making recommendation and procurement strategies for sourcing materials to achieve all targets in concept design.
With concerns of a tight schedule and budget, through detailed planning, time management and cost assessments Axis was able to fully assist the client’s management team to successfully relocate all the inventory items like IT/AV/Security system, existing furniture system, existing server room system etc. to accommodate into new design and new office environment.
